INK-CORPORA PROJECT: A NEW CHALLENGE FOR GUZMAN GLOBAL

The development of the INK-CORPORA project has occupied us between October 2018 and October 2019. Its general objective has been to obtain new products for the ceramic sector suitable for “Full Digital” technology.

These new materials will make it possible to optimally optimize the production process of the enamels for this type of applications and their development has required their validation under the demanding conditions of use of this type of enamels, with very strict quality standards, as well as their verification in conditions Industrial

The project has a budget of € 260,904 and is co-financed by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). It is important to highlight the great work that both bodies do in the area of ​​support for R&D. Thus, the mission of the CDTI is “to ensure that the Spanish business fabric generates and transforms scientific-technical knowledge into sustainable and globally competitive growth”. For its part, ERDF aims to “strengthen socio-economic cohesion within the European Union by correcting the imbalances between its regions.”

For Guzmán Global, the development of this project has been a very important challenge that allows us to provide specific solutions and expand the applications in the most active and leading area of ​​R&D currently carried out in the ceramic sector, the technology for printing “ink -jet ”and specifically its use in the application of“ Full Digital ”enamels.

With satisfactory conclusions, these new products aimed at the ceramic market will allow the company to continue growing in collaboration with customers and, therefore, contribute to the maintenance of long-term sustainable relationships with them.

Likewise, the INK-CORPORA project will contribute to the development of high-value solutions that will provide Guzmán Global with a competitive advantage and a differentiation factor with which to deal with the market.
